About the Job

Embassy is looking for a team-oriented individual with experience in food manufacturing/food industry to join our Day Dry Production Team. If you have experience compounding, mixing, and/or bagging that is a defiant asset but we are also looking for someone who wants to learn a new skill and enjoys a challenge. All operators and employees at Embassy are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure top quality of the products we produce.

Shift Time
10:00pm to 6:30am (*Some weekend and OT work may be required)

What you will be responsible for at Embassy:
  • Compounding batches as per the measurements indicated on manufacturing orders (MO’s) and ensuring accurate lot tracking
  • Verifying if all the ingredients are ready and that there is enough quantity for production.
  • Weighing all the specified ingredients on the recipe
  • Mixing product in the blender as per the manufacturing instructions to ensure product meets specification.
  • Drying, cleaning and washing the equipment when the schedule requires.
  • Operating equipment such as, fork lift, BT pallet truck, scales, mixers, baggers, bag sealers, metal detectors and cranes
  • Ensuring that all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Reporting non-conformances to supervisor, manager, or QA.
  • Creating labels as per MO instructions.
  • Other duties as required
What you will need to bring to Embassy:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Intermediate PC skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Mixing product in the blender as per the manufacturing instructions to ensure product meets specification.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift bags/boxes up to 25kgs (55lbs)
